Simple antique pinewood prayer kneeler from a convent in the Castentino valley (province of Arezzo) in Italy. The kneeler is very simple, rustic and charming.

There is a hinged lid which opens on top, double doors in the middle with shelves, and at the base, another hinged lid. These compartments were used as storage for bibles and other religious books.

It would make a very unique nightstand.
